Jean Slater, M.S., S.L.P. is a graduate of Northwestern University (l967) and University of Michigan (l968) with degrees in Communication Disorders. She was a Speech/Language Pathologist for 25 years in the public schools and is a national speaker on development of language and literacy skills. Jean is co-owner of Slater Software, Inc., the leader in Picture-Assisted Literacy™ software ensuring literacy learning in students with disabilities.

Roxanne Butterfield, S.L.P. is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin - Whitewater (1974) with Bachelor of Science- Education degree in Communication Disorders. She was a Speech/Language Pathologist for 13 years in public schools and is an international speaker on AAC, literacy and assistive technology. Roxanne has twenty-five years of experience in professional development, sales and marketing assistive technology and is currently the Director of Sales and Professional Development at Slater Software.
